Trainee Import Air Freight Clerk - Heathrow Office

This is a newly created role to join a team of three in a busy office environment. The office is responsible for arranging the importation of air cargo from around the world, Customs clearance at various UK airports and delivery of cargo to our customers. This is carried out in conjunction with our network of overseas partners.

The role requires mainly computer based tasks including:

  • Receiving and processing overseas partners uplift requests
  • Following up customer order processing
  • Job file processing
  • Airline shipment tracking
  • Arranging airline collections/customer deliveries
  • Taking customers instructions over the phone for overseas collections/deliveries
  • Issuing sales invoices

Working hours: 0830 – 1700, Monday – Friday

Office location: Chalfont St Peter. (Would ideally suit a car driver due to limited public transport.)

12 Month Business Administration Apprenticeships

We are looking for enthusiastic people to join as PFE Business Administration Apprentices. This is a 12 month apprenticeship in which you will achieve a Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Business Administration. Many of our apprentices have gone on to successful full time positions within the company.

Warehouse Operatives & Warehouse Operative FT Drivers

Both roles are warehouse based, carrying out general warehouse duties including manual handling, stock receipt, order picking, stock dispatch and general labour. These roles will require a high degree of manual and physical work. Drivers will preferably have valid, full truck licences. The warehouse operates a shift system including 2 night-shifts during the week.

HGV1 Container Drivers

We require HGV1 qualified container drivers. All applicants must be registered to work off the terminals of UK container ports.
